OOC Discussion

Congratulations!

Thanks!

Damn I have fallen behind. Only part of it can be blamed on my shoulder dislocation. Also computer troubles now. But checking into say I'm gonna get back into this. Andrew shall have trauma from Retconning and explaination. :P

I'll have a new computer by the 24th. At least that's when it should arrive.
I noticed Aria was not on the list of characters who are standing outside the Duke's manor. Was this an oversight, or did she wander off somewhere?
Total oversight on my part. I'll edit the post.

I am currently recovering from the hike today. I'm also at a loss for words; one of the most stunning places....things...I have ever seen. Anyway, I should be back to posting later on Monday.

To be honest I would not have been that surprised if Alex had decided we were being boring and slipped off to kill something :stuck_out_tongue:

I was wondering the same thing! I had the flu for most of last week so I fell silent but I've been reading the threads.

No, see, what you do is, you get a muzzle for the dog, to keep it quiet.  And you get a harness for the dog, with a loop on the back of the harness, for ease of handling.  Then you have a blacksmith make an end cap for your ten foot pole, with a loop built in that you can thread a rope through.  Then you tie the wardog to the ten foot pole, so you can carry the whole package quite easily somehow.  And if you do get in combat after all, you can unmuzzle the dog and wield it from the second rank like a polearm, because it's probably pissed as **** by now, so it should be a real buzzsaw.  :)

Or, yeah, just leave it behind.

So sorry, everybody! Got swallowed whole by a work conference this week. Not much internet access, and never saw the light of day. I'm now sitting in the airport to head home, so we should be able to get back on schedule.

Here...we...go!

Any ideas for course of action?  Hengist can totally break down the door and demand to tell his side of the story, but I suspect that's no longer exactly where we stand.

Edit:  Or I can go for it.  :)

Maps are back up. I also haven't heard from barkman or Lucasdelsur in a while, which would be unfortunate, seeing as Kaul made off with the carved box...

Phhft. I've been assuming Kaul and Gwydion were slain in the building by the constable.

:)

Also, can we get a new IC thread since it sounds like we're about-facing?

No one said they weren't. To be clear, I haven't heard from the players. Read that as you will.

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

So, OOC, I suggest we

Retrieve Kaul and Gwydion; starting at the carpenter's place. I suggest furious questioning of those guards if we can't get into the building any other way.

i agree, i think that party gathering will be the best idea now.

Hey, WHO'S SAYING THAT?!

...check your PMs, Lucasdelsur...

Re: the GM question in IC, I'd say go back to the inn where Kaul left his war dog and ten foot pole, but I can also see going back to the carpenter's.

question for Boblonlaw:  do I have a sense of when we lost the Marshall?  Is it plausible he's doubled back to Eduard's?

Constable Thorsdun headed in the direction of Lord Mallory's manor, but you lost sight of him after he passed 'round the corner of the ruined building across from the Silver Scale Inn, and the party stood discussing things for several minutes more before following. It's certainly possible he could have doubled-back without the party seeing him.

Anyone else going to respond to Hengist's suggestion to go back to the inn? I'm going to move things ahead in that direction tonight without another response.

I'm good with that. Maybe the war dog will have the sense to help us find Kaul if he's not in the carpenter's shop anymore.
