No one said they weren't. To be clear, I haven't heard from the players. Read that as you will.

Dun Dun Dunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.
So, OOC, I suggest we
Retrieve Kaul and Gwydion; starting at the carpenter's place. I suggest furious questioning of those guards if we can't get into the building any other way.
Constable Thorsdun headed in the direction of Lord Mallory's manor, but you lost sight of him after he passed 'round the corner of the ruined building across from the Silver Scale Inn, and the party stood discussing things for several minutes more before following. It's certainly possible he could have doubled-back without the party seeing him.
Anyone else going to respond to Hengist's suggestion to go back to the inn? I'm going to move things ahead in that direction tonight without another response.
No worries. I've had a bunch of stuff go haywire in the last two days, but there's post updating the status of the party up, as well as some PMs sent. Let me know what the next plan is once you've had a chance to regroup.
Yes, in the workshop thread I believe he secreted himself away behind a secret compartment; that all being OOC knowledge, obvs. Not sure if Kaul would have witnessed more, he was with him.
Kaul saw Gwydion find the compartment, but then left, if I recall correctly. Hardrada is actually away until Monday, I believe, which is why I haven't been pushing too hard. That's going to change when he gets back, as I'd like to get rolling a bit faster.

Yup. Assuming people follow, Kerrick will lead everyone to go engage in potential murder and revolt against the lawful authority of this town.
