OOC Discussion

Hello, my American friends...may the Fourth be with you!

I think I misremembered what Hengist was doing when I did that last map and post; I had him move towards the other bodies, but I believe he was going to lean against the nearest wall. To be clear, Hengist currently feels injured, but only a little worse than before. Let me know if you want him somewhere else.

I'm thinking Kaul should start avoiding high places. Like tabletops. Or stools.

Hahaha, its true.

In my campaing we have a level 5 thief who died by failing to climb the same wall of a castle twice.

Everyone else's action for the coming round?

Continuing to thoroughly loot.

I follow the logic, and xp would be nice...  But I also don't want to declare armor off limits after picking up Order.*  So I'll await other input.

*Which, by the way, I'm still open to having an OOC discussion about where that goes, but IC I picked it up before I even knew it was magical as I lacked a sword, so Hengist's plan now is to carry it around until someone says something.

Back from travelling will post soonish

Loot Loot Loot!

I’m having some computer trouble. Hopefully I can get it resolved without too much issue, but… so yeah.

Gwydion has no idea what sort of trouble Hengist is about to get into, does he?

I don't know what you mean.  There's no possible way this can go wrong for me!  :)

I finally subtracted the thrown darts and added the metal flask and purloined silver (from the carpenter's house) to my character sheet. Note that I intend the silver to be distributed amongst survivors... if there are survivors. Gwydion is not terribly concerned about human civilization (Law) but he fancies himself honest and honorable (after Elven fashion).

Questions:

- Who is taking the glassware flask?

- Who took the carved box?

- Did someone write down the bundle of furs (worth 500 gp) on their character sheet?

- From Bobloblah's response, I believe he explained that the leather is magical but that the shortsword is mundane.

- For Bobloblah, any chance the pig guys were speaking in Orc (or Gnoll or Hobgoblin)?

- Dave R, can Gwydion look at Order next time he and Hengist are near one another? This, of course, assumes that you're not about to die, in which case Gwydion will look at Order after he loots Hengist's body. :)

Yes!  I had a vague idea that had happened here, but checking I see that was Masov.  Although, I do hope to get the party back together in a timely manner as well.  I didn't fully realize I was setting off the looting frenzy with foes still up when I checked my first body.

Hey guys! My computer crapped out on me. Now I’m back! Srry bout that.

Hi folks. Sorry for the disappearing act. What started as a few days of project crunch time over a weekend got interrupted by a very bad turn in the illness of a close family member. It has now become clear that that illness is terminal. As my family is now providing full time care, my spare time has dwindled to virtually zero. For the time being, I simply can't continue with the game. I'm not going to remove anything, as the situation will change, but I obviously have no idea when, or what kind of headspace I might be in.

I've really, truly enjoyed gaming with you folks. You've provided a number of surprises, and lots of escapist entertainment. Thanks for that! Hopefully it can happen again at some point.

Very sorry to hear that. I wish the best to you and your family, and I hope it all goes as well for all of you as such a thing can.

Thanks for running a great game for us!

My condolences Bob, I'm very sorry to hear it.  I do thank you for the game we had.

Thanks for running a fun game, Bob. God bless you and your family.

It was fun! Thanks for running it. Sorry if I wasn’t always the most attentive player. I’m sorry to hear about your family member. That’s rough. :frowning:
