So, the OGL is here and the DMsguild is doing nicely, are there any planes to produce some ACKS goodies for 5e?

Did you know that using the recommended treasure rolls in a 5E campaign, the expected (average) value of treasure found from 1-20 is 3,223,044 GP?

I do, because I have a spreadsheet!

I have a friend who wants to run a 5E sandbox with some of the ACKS economics rules mixed in as houserules. So I started doing some things to help him out. Given that this is how my psionics rules entered existence (it's even the same friend), there is a real possibility that this will turn into something at some point.

(The summary is that using 5E's recommended treasure tables and XP values, you can't do XP for GP with a ratio even close to that of ACKS. You get too little treasure at low levels and too much at high levels. Making XP for GP work properly in 5E would require either new treasure tables or new XP values. My proto-idea is 20 tables, one for each CR, that will average the right amount of treasure for creatures of that CR, since a given CR is always worth the same XP. Since 5E has no economics of its own to speak of, the fact that loot will be different doesn't really affect anything in the core of 5E. Once you've successfully gotten the treasure tables and XP for GP in there, that can form the basis of bringing in the rest of the economics, but you're not going to get anywhere without a proper foundation.)

I didn't, and that's the kind of stuff I want to see converted to 5e :)
